Great tank - one problem

I thought the tank was exactly what I wanted - size was just right. I got it okay and everything looked great. Only had one problem - I could not get a fuel level reading. After much trouble shooting I took the fuel gauge out and found it did not have a float. It had not fallen off - there was never a float installed. I replaced the unit with a new one - the one it came with was a real cheap-o. It works like a champ now. I would recommend the tank but before you install it make sure the sending unit works.
